Conducting the viewings for potential tenants, liaising with the landlords and the tenants and making sure their experience of dealing with Keatons is pleasant. Once the agreements are signed, I need to ensure the move-ins go smoothly and there aren’t any issues in the run up. I also trying to help with administrative aspects if needed as well.
I got my job when one of the managers at the Canary Wharf branch, who I’ve known for couple years, invited me to come for the interview as I was about to graduate and join another companies’ training programme. Keatons’ were opening the new office and I decided to join their training programme instead. I’ve not looked back since!
Is announcing the bad news to the tenants, for example if their offer has been rejected or similar circumstances. Sometimes driving in a busy central area as Shoreditch or Liverpool Street can be challenging.
To be able to meet new people every single day. It’s also great to see all those different styles of properties – from period home to modern homes – and hearing peoples stories behind them. I learn something new every day for sure!
So many! Most of them of course are Summer and Christmas parties that Keatons organise.
On a day to day basis – just being surrounded by the lovely Shoreditch team is something I look forward every day.
For me – this depends on season! In the Summer I love garden BBQs, outdoor sports like wakeboarding and tennis. Whereas in the Winter, I love watching a good movie or reading a book, or perhaps going out to the gym or dinner with a few of my friends!
