How Keatons are adapting to COVID-19 and remaining open

Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement on 29th December 2020 implementing a third national lockdown from the beginning of last month, we wanted to let you know that we continue to remain open.  Here, we discuss how Keatons are adapting to COVID-19 and remaining open during these turbulent times.

Safety is paramount

The Government announced that the property industry could stay open during Lockdown 3.0, which means Keatons are still no hand for all of your property requirements, should that be purchasing or letting.  As always, the safety of our customers and staff is paramount to us during the pandemic, which is why we have ensured we are operating in a fully Covid-secure way.  With this in mind, property assessments, viewings, property management, and home visits are still taking place in a safe and secure manner. Should the customer feel more comfortable, virtual viewings and personal video tours with our agents are also available.

Moving during Lockdown

We’ve had a lot of customers contact us over the last few weeks to ask if they can still move house during the third national lockdown.  With the vast majority of us having spent much more time at home over the last 12 months than ever before, what we need from our home is likely to have changed – you may be looking for more space, you might now require a home office.  Whatever your needs, the good news is that you are still able to move during lockdown, as long as social distancing rules are adhered to. Visiting our Offices

Whilst our offices remain open, you can only visit us If you have booked an appointment.  To book an appointment please contact us here.

All visitors to the office must wear a face covering (unless exempt for medical reasons) and adhere to social distancing rules.  If you or a member of your household has tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 14 days or you are feeling unwell, please do not attend your appointment, our advisors will be happy to reschedule.

Property Viewings during Lockdown

If a tenant or buyer is viewing your property during lockdown, please ensure you open all internal doors and windows where possible for ventilation.  Post viewing, please make sure all surfaces are sanitized.

If you’re looking for a new Property

If you’re looking for a new property during lockdown, we at Keatons would advise that all initial viewings are conducted virtually.  Should you then wish to view said property in person, please adhere to government guidelines.

We hope you have found this post on How Keatons are adapting to COVID-19 and remaining open useful.

At Keatons, we are keen to support you in the best way that we can. We know these are challenging times, and many landlords are looking for guidance and support.

As an experienced letting agent serving London, we are here to help. If there is anything, we can assist you with; please contact Keatons today.
